Client Need: Train employees on the company's new goal development and assessment technology.

Client Considerations: More than 70% of employees do not work regularly from an existing office. Employee training time is limited. Bulk of training needed to be completed during slow periods. Audience analysis revealed that large percentage of employees had access to computers and the internet; however, a lower percentage was proficient in the use of computers.

Solution: Designed and implemented modular, internet accessible, paper-based and instructor led training.

Result: Training assessments demonstrated 90% average learning level. 800+ employees completed training enabling their usage of the new goal development and assessment technology. Total project was completed 20% under budget.

Client Considerations: Past senior level appointments were typically the result of the career longevity of the individuals appointed. Current average service of executives was significantly reduced owing to recent divestiture and attrition. Identify individuals capable of ascending to top executive, operational and administrative positions within 1 to 3 years. Provide a clear understanding of potential successor development needs in order to facilitate their preparation.

Solution: Educated senior executives on talent assessment methodology. Assessed 30 executives utilizing the methodology. Created executive development plans and debriefed executives on results. Developed a correlation matrix utilizing the data from assessments and created the succession plan.

Result: Identified the organization's top talent, their development needs and the potential successors for top executive roles. Adapted methodology for use in external recruitment to establish a talent pipeline from which future successors could be drawn.
